PROMOTING ADVANCES IN EDUCATION & COGNITION FOR PEOPLE WITH DOWN SYNDROME

Improving Educational Outcomes

Students with Down syndrome deserve to be educated in a welcoming environment. They also need to be challenged to grow and thrive, both academically and socially. We believe in educational programs that meet the individual needs of the child but are based on global best practices for all students.

Cognitive Research

To fuel its efforts in the education arena, in 2010 the 3-21 Foundation began its work in the field of cognition with a comprehensive investigation of the state of the art for drugs and supplements for cognitive enhancement in Down syndrome.

Advocacy In Action

To support our work in education and cognitive research, we have taken positions on certain issues with an emphasis on protecting and promoting the rights of individuals with Down syndrome.
